The 2018 Wings & Wildlife Art Show and marketplace features locally and nationally known wildlife artists working in a variety of media. Visitors will meet the artists, explore the National Aviary’s exhibits, and have the opportunity to take home original pieces of art.  The Art Show will take place on Saturday, Nov 4th & Sunday, Nov 5th from 10am - 5pm both days.

The National Aviary works to save birds and protect their habitats, partnering with organizations around the world to advance conservation research. The aviary houses a dedicated avian hospital, hosts tours, birdwatching trips, and student programs, and features more than 500 birds of over 150 unique species around the world in their avian exhibits, many of these showcased in free-flight mixed species exhibits, to allow the birds to demonstrate natural behaviors.

Oh, and did I mention they have a sloth?!? They have a sloth. The National Aviary's Cloud Forest exhibit, just outside the Gift Shop, is home to one of the Aviary's most popular animals - Wookiee, our Two-toed Linnaeus's sloth

Come find me and about 40 other artists from around the country in the Wings & Wildlife Exhibit hall, included in your aviary admission!
